Since we were kids, some movies and TV Shows wanted us to believe that the future was near. Futuristic houses, futuristic cars, futuristic technologies for everything around us. One of them is Virtual Reality and it's one of the most known and one that made us go crazy thinking of the possibilities that could come with that kind of technology. Virtual Reality has me really excited, because I believe that those things that bring the future out of the movie, are steps on moving forward to the future. I just can't wait to see my favorite movies in great definition, happening, not before my eyes, but IN MY EYES. I have this "thing" for high quality image, because humanity is making a great effort in bringing the true reality of colors and dimensions to displays, and I get amazed sometimes when I can compare what my eyes see with what some cameras can get and display. I think VR is the first step to match the image quality with the quality we get by looking with our own eyes, because it's bringing closer that feeling of "watching" talking about any kind of display ever made.

For me, Virtual Reality is the future coming closer to our senses, starting with our eyes.

Note: Sorry if I make some mistakes when writing, I've learned english by myself and sometimes I'm not pretty sure if everything I write is accurate and correct.

What impresses me most is that mobile tech is constantly evolving. It blew my mind 15 years ago playing snake on my first Nokia to now organising your whole life or running your business from a device that's fully connected to the world. Pretty amazing and the future is bright.

What excites me about VR and smart phones? How about the (future?) ability to stand anywhere on the planet (not just at home under ye ol' wifi) and be able to virtually stand anywhere in the world (think VR Avatar) in real-time. In the mean time, I'll take virtual landscapes.

What's not to like about mobile VR?!? A decade ago you had to strap a lowres, oversized, super-heavy a nauseating VR set to your head, now you can use your own phone to do the same, except a hell of a lot better, clearer and immersive!
