What excites me most about virtual reality pays homage to the last word in the phrase. Reality: "the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them". The thought of being totally immersed into a game or movie like you are actually living in that world is exciting to me. Simply put, VR is the next big thing.
