I had a 1st gen Dinc. It died :( Now I have to go back to this old phone. It's scratched, the battery door doesn't stay on. The blackberry logo and finish on the corner are coming off. This thing is an old piece of junk. I would do anything for a new Droid 3. Please let me win!

Hello!
I am currently looking to upgrade my phone I have never had a smart phone or any android phone for that matter. I currently own an accinent LG VX5300 I have not had an upgrade for years and I think its about time! My friend got me into this site to show me an now I see what I have been missing for all these years!
This is my 1st post but it wont be my last!

How about one that still works....and is busted?

Fell into a lake, still works
Keyboard all bubbled up, still works
Power button broke, works kinda
volume rocker dead
earpiece speaker dead, all phone calls are on speakerphone
Took it for a swim down a waterpark slide a couple times in a *waterproof* bag...that wasn't so water proof, still worked
no back plate, no copper accent piece
camera still works
phone dropped far too many times, the final plunge was on asphalt
50% of the time the digitizer works all the time

best phone I ever had

My Eris has survived a trip through the washing machine and dryer and two different screen cracking drops, all the while being fully functional and rocking Gingerbread. The reason I have to label it broke however is not the cracks in the screen or the water spots beneath it. It's the shards of glass that are becoming a hazard to my fingers and ears (speaker phone is my saving grace).

My son's old LG Chocolate. Broke a few years ago but remained whole until he and his friends starting using it for its still working video function. They got a few good videos after attaching it to a rocket and blasting it up. A few hard landings later however and it now has no use at all! :D

Still rocking the OG Droid. It is the exact same one I got on the magnificent day of Oct 17th 2009 when the Droid first launched. No refurbs, nothing. Keyboard is busted but never really open it up anyways, and the camera likes to pick and choose when it works, which sucks when your at a wedding like I was last night. The wife has a fancy new Thunderbolt but I am stuck with this one until October of this year. Would love an early upgrade!

I had to return my phone (again), because it would randomly reboot, so I'm stuck with this and i'm down $200. It doesn't even work as I haven't used it in years. It's a variation of the Nokia 3310 sold in the US. :(

This is my wife's BlackBerry Curve after our son decided put in on the bread toaster and switch it on

I've been trying to restore my broken incredible, bought a ton of pieces here and there, but it still doesn't boot up because of the water damage. I'm a themer so I could really use a dev phone here. Thanks for doing this giveaway AndroidCentral!

ok so this is not the phone im using now but it was one of my old ones. I wish i still had my OG Droid i recycled it after i died (RIP O:-)) but my OG droid would have won this for me. It had been ran over by a car dropped over and over i was a tank. The back cover was coming off it looked funny and the front and back where so scratched up pretty bad the metal on the front was not mostly black anymore. you would possibly wonder how it even worked :D but it was the water the got to it RIP :'( but it looked so beat up i would so have won this if this is about having the most battle wounded phone

I won this Moto SLVR from Pepsi in 2006 and it served me faithfully until I "upgraded" to my son's BlackJack II when he upgraded to an Atrix last month (I do have a NOOK Color that I'm in the process of rooting).

Motorola Cliq phone.
If you've ever used one, you'd know how broken it is :-P

Motoblur makes it so slow it's unusable and it causes random reboots.
The GPS randomly loses lock for 10min at a time so it's pretty useless for Nav.

I'm not buying any more Motorola piece of crap phones. If the Droid 3 is craploads better, I'll write a review on it, but that's the only way Motorola is going to redeem itself to me. Motorola phones suck :-P
