Great job with this haha I was just talking with my friend yesterday about how rooters are unable, however, close to getting ICS on phones that were only meant to run Froyo... Can't wait to test this out when I have more time to flash my phone!!:)

Drew you are the man! I am constantly amazed by how much more awesome our phones are because of all your hard work. Can wait to play around with it this weekend.

I've got a Allerta Inpulse Bluetooth watch, and CM9 works great with it. It seems at least the L2Cap BT protocol is working fine.

I'd like to port this to the Optimus V. Is there a public repo that I can use? I don't want do duplicate work by starting again from lupohirp's sources.

Thx!

I didn't build this from source. It's a direct port of lupohirp's Beta 2. Think of it as a kind-of SDK port, if you will. It's definitely more of a proof of concept at this point, but once I get lupohirp's repo modified for LS670 I'll publish it.

Awesome! Thanks for testing that.

Hey Drew, what's your opinion on this?

Flashing on V, no service, maybe no Boot? Or maybe worse?

Although its a port, did you substitute files built for the S?

1) Definitely no service, probably won't boot.
2) Yes, which is why you won't have service and probably won't boot.

I remember there used to be a Sprint to OV file we can flash with the Asthnos CM7 ROM. I wonder if that would work for teh CM9 as well.

Most likely not. All it really did was switch the hardware key buttons. TheKraven's CM7 rom works just like any other on the V.

Also, CM9 boots on the V with this. I love it. Using wifi. :P

Originally, the buttons don't work right because maybe the Optimus T has different codes? The buttons are after all connected? :/

So wait, if I'm correct, this boot and works on the OV? Curiousnoob, is there anything besides data that is totally stopping this from being a daily driver?

sms/mms doesn't work on the s, and the home button acts as up on the keyboard (if there was one). This is stated in the first post.

No camera, and no offline charging.

this is still an alpha build

You misunderstood me... I'm talking about the OV. I figure the ov would have worse problems than this already has

Curiousnoob said over in the OV forum that it boots on the OV but the only radio-related stuff that works is wifi, no phone service.

@drewwalton19216801 Would you have any remote ideas as to which files I could replace to get this thing to get service on the Optimus V? maybe apn-config.xml? maybe services.jar? What did you replace to get it to work on the S?

I'm super excited to flash this:cool:
