Wipe system cache gone?

After updating to the February security patch, I no longer seem to have to the option of wiping system cache. The only options I have now at the boot screen are factory reset, power off and reboot normally. My wife's wife's 25 ultra doesn't have it either. Is that no longer able to be done after an update? Anyone else notice this?

You're posting this in the S24 threads asking an S25 question. Anyway, you might have to do the USB trick to access it.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Connect to PC/Laptop: Power off your Samsung device and connect it to a computer or USB-C enabled device using a USB cable. Note: The connection to a PC is crucial for newer models to trigger recovery mode.
  2. Enter Recovery Mode: Press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons simultaneously.
  3. Release Buttons: When the Samsung/Android logo appears, release the Power button but keep holding the Volume Up button.
  4. Navigate Menu: Once the Android Recovery menu appears, use the Volume Down button to highlight "Wipe cache partition".
  5. Select Option: Press the Power button to select the option.
  6. Confirm: Use the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to confirm.
  7. Reboot: Once the process is complete ("Cache wipe complete" appears at the bottom), highlight "Reboot system now" and press the Power button

I have a 24 ultra, not a 25 ultra. I have always cleared the system cache after every system update. I already do those steps with the exception of having to have it hooked up to a computer. This update must have changed the way to access it. Anyway I will try it with a computer tomorrow. Thanks for your suggestion.

I'm running the beta on my 25 ultra and it's also gone. Hopefully it's just an oversight and they bring it back

Hopefully they do. I have always used that wipe cache to fix little bugs after updates. Won't those temp files build up somewhere and end up causing issues?

I assumed you had the 24 hence how it ended up here but when I saw you mention your wife's 25 I overlooked the issue being yours. My bad.

They took it away from LG and Pixel, Sammy was one of the last to still have it, I guess, so kind of not surprised.

Yeah they took it out on February security on my Fold 7 and my s25u beta 8.5

Looks like it's going be for good but hopefully they add back ADB at least

Yeah sorry, my fault. That was a typo. My wife has a 24 also. Didn't even see that until you pointed it out.
