Wirefly Taking Pre-order TONIGHT!!!

hmm what to do

convert to family plan and end up paying $130/month to get the phone for $199 or pay $350 to get the phone outright from my friend from at Best Buy...

60 bucks for cheapest plan non data 450 minutes.

80 Bucks for 900 minutes.

Looks like 30 bucks for unlimited data plan?

with tax etc? wow a C-note monthly(cheapest plan) for a single phone?

optional 7 dollars insurance.

20 bucks for 3G hotspot with a(2GB cap)?

Wow those cheap bastards!

I don't see a 4G hot spot rate?

Question? if you go with a family plan? will it be a one time 30 dollar fee for unlimited data for 2 phones or
30 bucks for each phone?

The $60 for the 450 minute individual plan is some kind of bug. If you click for a higher plan, and then return back down, the 450-minute plan comes out to $40 -- the price on VzW. Weird, not sure if it's a mistake or there to mess people up (hopefully not)?

they announced 5 devices on hotspot a while ago.. not that makes much diff anyway (unless you really plan on using 8 devices running off your cell)
but wirefly contract really blows. yea the phone is $200, but with their contract plans, you'll be spending $30~50 extra every month for next 2 years. i'll just wait till thursday and go with verizonwireless

Could you explain how you figure an extra $30-50/mo? The plans I see offered on wirefly are the exact same prices and plans offered on the Verizon website. Am I missing something?

The 40 dollar plan doesn't include unlimited Text, Picture, Video & Instant Messaging to anyone on any network in the U.S.

Yes, I should have clarified - $40 for 450 minutes, voice only. I was referring to "60 bucks for cheapest plan non data 450 minutes" which is what I initially saw too when ordering. Maybe something with my browser?? I used Chrome to order.

Is GPS covered in the unlimited data?
I know AT&T charges for the GPS feature?

No, GPS is a feature of the phone. If you were to get the Vz Navigation app then yes that would be a separate charge. Why would anybody get that on a smartphone that has Google Maps navigation is beyond me.

Are you going to stick with the 40 dollar plan?
I hope not?

messaging and texting is huge part of having a super phone like the TB?

I wonder if video chat comes under messaging? I would think it would fall
under the data category?

What? all android phones have google navigation these days even att ones. Yea gps uses data but it uses the unlimited data plan for that. Thunderbolt will have stand alone navigation. ATT And verizon do have their own navigation software and its your choice if you wanna pay another 10 dollars a month to use their navigation.

I use the Sprint Navigation which is actually TeleNav.

Is google Maps turn by turn voice direction?

I'm switching over from AT&T and porting my old number there to Google Voice for SMS, so it'll be $40 for voice + $30 for data initially. Video chat, when available, should be included as part of the data plan.
