Wirefly Unboxes the Thunderbolt!

Looks sweet, but did anyone else notice that there was room for them to make a larger battery area hense it could hold a bigger battery?

The video mentioned that you need a sim card to use lte. I don't have one and i'm really not even sure what it does. Could someone please explain?

It will come packaged inside the phone. A SIM card is what GSM carriers like AT&T use in all of their phones. CDMA phones (unless their global phones) don't use SIM cards.

you need a specific 4G sim card (see included pic) to activate the network. verizon probably give you a card when you activate a 4G plan.

But the Thunderbolt will use a SIM card because it needs it for 4g LTE service. :)

Actually, Android doesn't support rotating of the home screen. It never has. That's not just because orientation lock is on.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on that statement. I think HTC sense 2.0 does allow homescreen rotation.

EDIT:

Well I swear I saw one of the hands on videos from CES do it... But I either can't find it right now, or I made it up in my head! XD

Maybe my optimistic side is making an appearance?

He is saying the official android from google has no implementation for homescreen orientation. It's something added in by the phone manufacturers.
