So I'm going nuts trying to find a stand up wireless charger that works. I don't want to keep buying them and then returning so many to amazon. I have the s21 ultra with a skin and a thin tpu clear case. It's weird bc I didn't have this issue with my not 20 ultra and I had a thicker case on that one. But it'll charge and keep turning off an on, or will switch from fast charging to regular charging or just stop all together.

I have had this one for over 3 years and has never not worked any any phone. This ranges from small to big which includes the note 20 ultra.

The official Samsung ones? I have many wireless chargers in the house (stand up and flat ones) and never have issues with any of them (chargers perfectly fine with cases on). Granted mine are all official Samsung wireless chargers which I have hoarded over the years with the pre order credits
I agree, I've used several, but the samsung charger has always worked with all phones. I would suggest getting a samsung myself.

I've had tylt, mine quit working, my mom's is still working so that was my experience with them, also they had their own charger cord so type C or USB cords won't work. That could be different now.

EDIT.. I have found in the past switching cords or charger heads out for wireless chargers can cause them not to work. Not all cords and charger heads are the same.

I ordered (and received the same day!) an Intoval Wireless Charger off Amazon a few days ago. I like its compact design and it has a 3-in-one simultaneous charger for my Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Buds+ and a Galaxy smartwatch, if I had one. My phone will charge at normal speed if I put it on the stand in portrait mode or fast speed if I lay it in landscape. I have a cover on the phone and it doesn't interfere with charging. Supposedly, it will work with cases up to 5mm thick.

That's pretty slick, I'm a little tempted lol.

It sounds to me that the OP has either a bad wireless charger or (hopefully not) a faulty phone.

But what everyone is missing is that there is a difference between something “working” and something being optimal.

If you are using a 5 or even 10 watt charger, it will “work” but you won’t get the sustained fast wireless charging the phone can accommodate.

OP, in my opinion you should buy a Samsung branded 15w charger. If it is still a problem, then it is likely your phone. You should remove the cases for your testing.

I have been using the Samsung charger for my last two phones (S20+ and S21+), cases on (all different types/thickness) with no issues. I previously had an Anker which works great too. I got the Samsung charger with my credits. One thing I really like about the Anker charger vs. Samsung (and others, at least for me) is the length of the cable. I find most to be too short. I know everyone is different - just a peeve of mine.

What's the difference between yours and mine? Do you know?

Mine is 15 watt wireless fast charging 2.0 and I believe yours is like 10 or less? Not 100% sure.
This one is much faster than the round one.
I had the round convertible like your picture a couple years ago.
