Android Central Question

Newbie here, First of all hello to everyone and thank you for any help and advice offered, in advance.

So... after years of being on the dark side, I’ve finally decided to return to Samsung after becoming totally “dismayed” for the want of a better expression with Cr-apple.

I had an old S5 years back, but just couldn’t get on with it resulting In me giving it to a friend, who still has it to this day and refuses to part with it, as he hasn’t had a bit of bother with it at all...I got hold of an i6 plus, currently on my third after touch disease struck time and again.
Anyway, I digress....

My wonderful wife has just preordered me the S9 plus for our wedding anniversary present, after I point blank refused to upgrade to the i8 or X due to it being....well... you know....

My question is, is it worth investing in a good wireless charging set up?
Probably one for the home and possibly some kind of cradle for the car?

If so... could you recommend which ones are best, and which to avoid?

Thanks again guys

I highly recommend Samsung's products...I have been using there fast chargers for years, and they work Great!
I would highly suggest that you to going to a Best buy and chat with a Samsung representative, they are very Helpful and knowledge! .And!They have a Great variety of products!..

I got the new Samsung wireless charger as a free gift with my note 8 and I can honestly say my $15 Choetech one works much better. Glad I didn't actually spend $90 on the Samsung one.

I have the Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Convertible Stand and I love it. Very convenient and it charges fast

I bought an aftermarket wireless charger at Amazon and still works great after 9 months and much cheaper than Samsung's charger.

I love the idea of a wireless charger! I currently have a s5 but I don't think I can charge it wirelessly! Time to upgrade!!

So for those who do/did have a Samsung device and a Samsung Wireless Fast Charger, how long does/did it take for your phone to go from 0-100% charge?

Definitely invest in a wireless charger set up. A lot of other brands offer cheaper choices than what Samsung is offering so you can look into those.

I would avoid any wireless fast chargers that don't have some kind of cooling. I've tried a couple of wireless fast chargers in my car that don't and sometimes they run hot so the charger will stop charging until it cools. Pointing the air conditioner at it helps, but there are times my passenger will aim it up as it's too cold for her. Either way, if Samsung pout a fan in their charger, it's probably because they felt it was necessary.

I prefer the Samsung wireless fast charger is better, cheaper chargers make my phone run hot!
