Wireless Charging issues (not charging)

Is anybody else having issues with wireless charging? Mine are intermittent but quite often I put the phone on a charging pad and it just does not charge. Happens with multiple pads so it is not a pad issue.

Starting to think I may have a hardware issue?

Do you have a case on the phone? Some cases won't let you wireless charge.
 
Maybe toggle the "Fast Wireless Charging" option in settings to turn it off then back on? Clear cache? just Brainstorming here...

Where in setting will I find "fast wireless charging" option?

I can't find accessories, under advance features. In settings. It's just not there.
Is this a carrier thing. I'm on att as my carrier.

do you have things disabled with an app? if so, unless you re-enable the thing blocking it, you likely won't find it.
 
This might sound like a strange question but are you putting the phone on the wireless charger horizontally or vertically? I have the Samsung wireless charger that I can lay down or prop up. I prop it up lay it down horizontal. That works best for me. When I lay it vertical, I have a hard time trying to get it to work.

Mine on Sprint is under Settings>DeviseCare>Battery>3. dropdown>settings . I have been using an old Sami FCharge , a few Qi bricks , Car charger and the new Sami FCharge2.0 with no issues.

Could there be something I clicked on in a setting that would block it.
I just started looking for it, with the talk of wireless charging and knew I ordered one, decided to look for it.

hard to know, but possible. who is your carrier? I'm with sprint but mine will be the unlocked version and doesn't arrive until Wed. if I figure something out I'll post back. meanwhile, if you don't find it try contacting your carrier.

My carrier is att. Thanks I'll keep looking and will call them tomorrow if I can't figure it out.

this is not you. it's a new phone, and others are having trouble with settings and things not working as they should. be kinder to yourself.

Thanks, I did find a video on YouTube, the one he had the fast charging and fast charging was under battery settings. Mine has fast charging but not fast wireless charging there.
 
Something to try.
- backup the device to Samsung Cloud and even to Google, too
- reset to factory
- test the wireless charging
- if it works, set the device up as new
- use it for as few hours, then restore your backup

Thanks, I may have to do that. Gonna talk to att tomorrow, maybe samsung support first.
