Wireless N -- Doesn't work????

hi all,

just got my EVO yesterday, rocks!

i have a tomato router and set the wireless to N-only and the phone goes offline from wifi. if i change the router to 'auto' or 'G' it works perfect.

anyone else notice this or have a solution??

Yeah everyone notices this because the Evo does not support N in its current form.

The wifi chipset in the phone supports N but likely wont be enabled until the release if Froyo (if ever)

Yeah, thats a Froyo feature. 2.1 android doesn't support it. Same thing goes for the Incredible and N1.
