Wireless on, but no connection

Here you go, a little different to what I understand is everyone elses problem.

My wifi is on, but there is NOTHING showing as available to connect to. Normally people say it shows its connected with full signal but nothing happens. I don't even see anything to connect to - it acts as though everything is out of range.

I reboot, and all of the places I can connect to in range show up. This does it at home, at work, out at hotspots... doesn't matter. I'll be mid use and itll just act like the connection doesn't exist.

I have NOT got it set to turn off wireless if the device is asleep. I have also restored factory defaults thinking I may have blocked the wrong bloatware items. It hasn't made a difference. Date and time are correct.

Hubby has the Galaxy Tab4 10inch and his is absolutely fine.

Anyone? Bueller?:'(

Re: Wireless on, but no connection

This is really frustrating!

I turned off power saving mode in the hopes it would help. For two days - no problems. Today its lost it twice and a reboot is the only thing that makes it see there are actually some points to connect to.

Date and time are correct. I can't be the only person with this problem can I?
