Wireless Tether on GB?

Been reading a lot on the GB update. I'm currently on Froyo with z4root, and I use Wireless Tether for Root pretty regularly. If I update to the unsigned Gingerbread w/ root, will it be possible to get free wifi tethering still through any apps? Everyone's answers seem either cloudy, or from mid-march on leaked versions.

If it won't be possible, will GB automatically be pushed to my phone eventually, or can I just stay on Froyo?

I think all carriers are going to disable the tethering Apps soon. Dawson story this morning about Verizon doing just that.

So I started doing more reading, and it looked like you could either find the TBH patch for hot spot, or use titanium to freeze the status bar to get tethering to work. Anyways, before doing either of those, I installed the rooted .596 build, uninstalled the old wireless tether, installed their new wireless tether for root 3.0 pre 14, and tried it for ****s and giggles. It works just fine. Didn't have to patch or freeze anything! Knocking on wood that doesn't change, but I'll post back here if it does!

It will change when that knocking on wood is Verizon at your front door(assuming your door is made of wood) asking you to either pay for all the Internet you took without paying, or make you pay for it still AND force you to sign up for a tether plan. Not that it would actually happen but VZW isnt called Big Red for nothin. They know who is tethering.
On a side note, this post was not to incite the previous closed thread we had about this topic not too long ago. Just wanted to update the OP

I couldn't get the new one to work on GB myself. I shows limited access or doesn't load any pages.
