Wireless tethering monitor ED01

So in EB01, there was either word or rumor that there was a wireless tethering monitor in the ROM. I wanted to know if someone knew if that was the case in ED01. I hope not because I am taking a 9 hour car ride tomorrow and back after and I am taking my laptop and I want to tether a couple of times to keep me updated on things like Android Central.

Great question. I tether quite a bit and would like to know as well.

Im no expert but I dont think they can monitor the tether... Only the amount of data that goes to your phone

I tethered quite a bit last weekend (well, a long time, not a lot of data) and no one has come to arrest me yet. The rumors about tether-snooping were circling around the kernel itself, and you can still run whatever different kind of kernel you want even with the ED01 roms.
