With 5% battery my camera app will no longer function, how do I disable this feature?

A

AC Question

With 5% battery life or less remaining on my phone, I cannot take a photo. I also believe that it sets the brightness to the lowest level possible. This essentially makes the phone useless if you're outside and can't see your phone. Also, not being able to take a picture is extremely annoying. Does anyone know how to turn these features off or remove them entirely?

Assuming that you regularly run the battery down that far, dispose of it, buy a new one and read The Care and Feeding of Lithium Polymer Batteries carefully.

As far as turning off the "features", they're not features, they're functions to keep you from destroying the battery completely in one day. (Completely draining a lithium battery disconnects it from the outside world, turning it into refuse.)
