Tried to load some digital copies of movies I have onto my TP, but it wouldn't recognize said files. Anyone know a workaround with this?

Go to the app store and download an app called QQPlayer.

I've have it on both my TF101 and TF201. Works great on WMV files unless you have some strange encoding.

BTW - it's free

a good one is mx videoplayer

QQPlayer is good, as BUNK stated. As are MoboPlayer and RockPlayer. I used to use my phone for video all the time, but, I haven't in a really long time. If I recall, I used MoboPlayer as my default after exploring all the various options.

If those are encrypted digital copies (which is what it sounds like) they won't work.

Best video player I've used is Dice Free, but I'll check out QQPlayer.

However, the best all around video player is the stock Touchwiz player on the Galaxy Tabs because of the SRS implementation for 5.1 audio. Without it, it's like I can't shove my earbuds into my ears far enough to hear clearly if there's any ambient noise (eg, on a commuter train). I can't find any audio volume booster app without root.

For your volume issue, use Volume+. It works great. Just be careful when making changes because I have heard of people blowing out their speakers. No root necessary
