Wonder when preorders start

I most definitely want the 3G version on AT&T. I see it is already listed on their website as "coming soon". I wonder when preorders will start?

Official sales start in October, but not sure if pre-orders will go live before that. In any case shouldn't be that long.

Hope the prices are reasonable and options as far as availability are plentiful. I will grabbing the 3G model on T-Mo

How would the 3G model work? Wouldn't it have a separate number for texts and calls?

Yes separate number, but when linked to your phone (on gear s phone had to be on to be linked) it will show your phones number. If the phone is off then it will show up as the number for the watch. The phone could be at home and on and have service and you could be on the other side of the country and linked.
