Wont vibrate for text messages

Ever since i disabled any notifications from the stock messaging up when i switched to Handcent, the phone hasnt been vibrating for any text messages received. I dont really get it. I cant turn vibrate on through the regular messages app without turning on some other notification stuff i dont want on so what gives? I dont understand why its doing this. The vibrate works otherwise. Works fine for calls and pressing the home key and stuff but just not receiving text messages even though i DO have it turned on through Handcent's settings. Anybody got any insight?

did you check the HandCent notifications settings
