Anyone see the announcement about the app sale at Google Play? I didn't know they would be app sales...cool! They said something about hitting the 25 billionth purchased app download as cause for celebrating. I wonder if I was that guy because I purchased my first app last night? Probably not, I'm sure there was someone after me. Now my monumental task will be to find some apps I want or need for 25 cents.

Thanks for the heads up! I already purchased 4 of them

Yup, I already spent 50 cents on a couple things I really don't need!

By the way, a nice app I use that informs me of apps on sale is AppSales.

I saw a refund button at purchase time. how long is that button active?

Supposed to be for 15 minutes. That's not very long considering if you purchase a large file App that may take longer than 15 mins to DownLoad. It usually takes me longer than 15 minutes to see if I really like or need certain Apps :p

I was wondering how to use up my remaining $1.05 Google Play Credit left over from my Nexus 7 purchase ;)

There ya go.:) I have an even $20 left, but I'm not going to use it for the 25 cent sale, I'll just use the card in the wallet for that and save what's left on my Play credit for any apps that are high priced I might need or want down the road.

I got Tasks. seems ok for a quarter. :)

quick question. Do Tasks automatically run itself in the background even after killing the app using Task killer?

One thing i didnt like about any.do is it open itself in the background and kills battery.

I think I'm going to go for that Office Pro thing.

I already did. I think its worth it.

i got rid of any.do for that very reason. The Tasks app does NOT run continuously--no need to stop it.

Damn! I paid a dollar last month! Luckily, it's a pretty good app and was worth that large sum of money. Of course, I rarely use it, because that would mean I would actually have to do stuff, like tasks.

LOL! Better to have the dollar version and plenty of time on your hands, to boot! :)

Thanks for letting us know, how did you find out about this? I just bought Office Suite because of another post on this thread, found out from a friend that I told about the sale that his wife just bought it two days ago for $14.99. Is there a way to get to a list of what is on sale?

Update: I opened the Play Store on my PC and there is a link at the top of the page for the sale items. I really like how you can send your apps to other devices without buying them again when you log in to your account.
