I thought the same also. Most of my "resistance" was that I had a very bad experience with AT&T years back and vowed to never go back. Plus, Verizons coverage is MUCH better in my area. At face value, if the Incredible is "Incredible", even if Verizon does get the IPhone, I wouldn't care much...

As much as i hate the iphone...You would be suprised at how many new customers vz will sway from At&t....once vz has the iphone...At&t will lose millions..

Just placed my order this morning. Was going to wait to just go to the store and get it but couldnt help myself. Hope it goes through, going to be slightly enraged if I dont get it on time. I have it being shipped to my office, which I will no longer be working at after this week. Better be here!

It would be interesting to hear from any FEDEX employees who are waiting for their Incredible.
Sucks that they went through the effort to grab it back off the truck. Question did your phone show as due tomorrow or today? I'm asking because mine showed tomorrow even though they had it to deliver today and they pulled it.
Wondering if they would have delivered mine today is the delivery date was the 27th.

Mine said the same thing, give or take an hour, out of Memphis, but as of around 1:30 cst, it has now left Memphis....

This seems a little backwards, shouldn't the Shipment information sent to FedEx have been the 1st thing that happened?
Son of a ____, mine is still in Memphis, my shipment info was sent at 4:13 am one minute after yours, maybe the truck to Nashvegas has already left and the one to Knoxvegas will be leaving shortly.
Mine has said "Shipment information sent to Fedex" since April 26, 2010 3:20AM at the MEMPHIS location.
I have basically been checking every hour since then for an update but it still seems to be sitting there. I ordered it on the 19th.

OK, another update, I just got an email from the great VZN, telling me your order has been shipped and it was picked up from Ontario, CA , with expected delivary 04/29, but I think I could get it tomorrow as it is just 50 miles away from my place, hope
I wouldn't hold my breath. Its criminal how long a package can take to get to you.
I've had fedex/ups ship stuff right PAST my house, to turn right back around a day later to deliver it.
Thats what i have been thinking, why would they pick it up and take it to fedex and then receive the shipping info?

i talked to vzw employee accts today (our CS reps) and apparently verizon ran out of stock of the incredibles. she told me that she wasn't sure if it was just employees or everyone, but they are getting a new shipment in either today or tomorrow to fulfill the remainder of the orders
