Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good working tether app for the rooted Galaxy Nexus on Verizon. I tried several of them and none are working. If anyone actually has one installed and it working, please let me know which one.

Thanks

Foxfi worked fine on my old Verizon gnex. I don't have the device anymore, but when I did there was no issue.

I am looking for the same thing for a Galaxy Nexus on T-Mobile. Running out of patience waiting for the LTE version of the nexus 7 and T-Mobile not making it easy by not offering tethering on pre-paid unlimited plans.

It looks like this bug for WIFI tether up describe exactly the issue I was having.

As the last message in the bug says:

This is how I have fixed this issue. I am running a GS3 with CyanogenMod 4.3. I downloaded the wifi tether 3.4 experimental and also downloaded SuperSu to replace Superuser. This fixed it for me.

I downloaded the same build and it looks like it is working. I was able to connect with another phone to my phone.

This is the download page: https://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/downloads/list
