Working tether app ?

For a rooted D4, can you please tell me which tether app is preferred? I used to use the wifi tether app in google play (the green fan on the front), but that seems to have stopped working now- it is telling me that it is started with errors, but there isn't really any detail as to why it isn't working....?

I use FoxFi. Have for a couple years now. Works great.
