Worth picking up a cheap N7?

With the new N7 out, I imagine remaining stock of the old ones will be going on a pretty good discount. I'm thinking of getting a 7 inch tablet for my wife and was wondering if this would be a good option or if there are better options in the sub 150 to 200 range (what I hope to pick up a NIB 2012 N7 for).
