Would a wireless charger work with a leather case?

I want to get the wireless charging kit from samsung & wondered if it'll work properly if the note is in its leather case?

maybe, i have a wireless charger that works with my note 3 in an otterbox defender. I just have to hold down a very little bit for it to start charging.
If i just lay it on the charger , it doesnt start. I have to apply a very LITTLE amount of downward pressure to get it to work.
