Would having an unlocked, bloatware-free Moto X (2014) on Verizon be possible?

Have you taken a look at Cricket Wireless too? Newer data buckets are pretty nice. Grated they have a proxy for speeds right now.
Ah so that's where AIO went to...they got merged! I'll check out Cricket as well.

So, are you all saying that if I were purchase a X from Verizon or any major carrier, that I could not delete the bloatware?

The Moto X will not ship with an unlockable bootloader unless you purchase a developer edition. We are forced to wait for an exploit discovery to give us root access and a method to unlock. Of course some carriers will be able to have their bootloaders unlocked officially by Motorola. But, VZ and AT&T would not be included.

If Verizon bloats the new X the same as the OG, I'll be fine. I believe only My Verizon (useful to me), VZ Navigator & Tones (disabled both) were preloaded my X. Compare that with the Droid Mini/Maxx that had at least 17+ bloatware apps amazon IMDb etc. I'd say Moto did good. I hope it stays that way or else I just might ditch Verizon although my ETF is $200 with less than 7 months to go... Ridiculous.

It's closer to 10 vzw apps I think. Most, but not all, can be frozen.
