Agreed! I hope Huawei keeps making and selling them alingside the mate 10 cause it's value can't be beat!

It's actually gone back up in price at Amazon and B&H. I thought it would drop in price after info about the 10 was released.

When I first got interested in it, it was running $449 or less. Now it's basically $500 every place that I've looked.

I believe so. Seemed like the last 2 months so it stuck closer to the$450 though.

Ah I see. Makes sense though... With the mate 10 at a much higher price, a $500 mate 9 is still competitive,relatively speaking

Mate 9 is still proven, going strong and in my opinion the best phone atm, if you can get Mate 10 in good price, go for it.

However Mate 9 or 10, you can't go wrong

Yes, Mate 9 remains an excellent device. Most Mate 10 specs generally only slightly improved over the Mate 9, with the exception of the extra image processing/AI chip. Mate 9 will get the Oreo/EMUI 8 update late this year too.

$450-$500 is already one heck of a bargain for it, but I'm hoping we see some flash sales (Amazon/B&H) sometime next month in the low $400 range.

Well the mate 9 costs about 67% MORE than the v20. I would of course prefer the mate 9 but the v20 is a good option for those who want the best bang for the buck and the mate 9 is out of their budget.

For a couple of days Walmart had the V20 for $309.
