Would would the 5.5 iPhone need for you to leave the note line?

Some of you guys are entirely too focused on specs. "8MP camera??? Pffft". "Only a 1080p screen??? Pffft"

It isn't about the specs. It's about the experience and the results. I'm not saying your opinions are invalid, or incorrect. But base them on whether or not the experience you want is there, not because the new iPhone doesn't come with 3GB of RAM.

You can't simply look past the specs. The specs are an integral part of the experience that you speak of. A phone with crap specs is probably going to result in a crap experience.

I can't believe people just look at one spec of a phone and right it off. If u knew anything about the 8mp camera u would know it'll probably be one of the best cameras this year. But thanks for trying to bash apple for no reason.

First of all I didn't look at just one thing I looked at it all and it's completely sub par in every way to the note 4. Second, my wife has an iPhone 5s and even the camera in my Nexus 5 is way better than hers. Third, I don't need to bash Apple for no reason. I bash on Apple because I think their products simply suck and it blows my mind how many people just gobble their garbage up. The bottom line is their new phones are simply copies of what Android phones have been doing for years. That to me is far from impressive. But thanks for trying to defend apple for no reason.

Specs aren't everything like stated above. I think its pretty amusing how specs seem to make the whole experience bad when in fact besides a few flagship phones the iPhone is just as smooth or smoother than most all androids, takes just as good of pictures, does almost everything just the same as high end androids yet u sit here and bash their "crap specs"? Come on man I'm no apple fan boy but I will tell u that the iPhone is a pretty damn good phone and doesn't need half the specs to do the things that android does. I have a GS5 and still can't believe when I pick my iPhone 5 up at how smooth it runs. If u don't like the things that IOS has to offer that's fine. If your basis for a phone is 3gb of ram and a 2.5ghz quad core then you are missing the whole point of cell phones.

Your just trying to say things to hate apple for some reason . I don't know why people can't just admit that apple has good things about it and bad things just like android.

The fact being there is less good in this iteration ever. iOS 8 is fine, it is the phone itself, it isn't that good in my opinion.

If you have a phone with "crap" specs, but the experience is good, is it a crap phone? That's the question.

Obviously, due to different architectures, iPhone is able to run fluidly (many would argue more fluidly than any Android device) and only has 1GB of RAM. So does the fact that it has only 1GB of RAM make it a crap phone? I don't think so... So it really IS all about the experience. If there are features that a particular phone CAN'T produce, then the specs are affecting the experience. But if you have phones that offer the same experience, but have different specs, is one of those phones "good" and the other is "crap"?

The specs don't tell the whole story. I guarantee that the iPhone 6 Plus will perform better than the Galaxy Note 4. Why? Because Apple doesn't just throw more cores and higher amounts of RAM to fix performance issues like Samsung. They optimize the software for the hardware to give the best possible experience with that specific hardware.

In any case, the Note 4 has a weaker CPU and GPU than the iPhone. So there's that :p

The ability to print to ANY printer wirelessly in the room I am in is a deal breaker. Obviously, the printer needs to be a wireless network printer, but that's beside the point for my purpose.

Can't do it? I can't use it.

It's funny. I left the iPhone 5 to a Note 3 mainly for the bigger screen and this is my first Android ever. Was always an iPhone user. Now I can't see myself going back to an iphone

I am interested to see the iPhone plus in person, and the only reason I'd consider going back is because my wife won't give up her iPhone and I do miss the ease of linking our calendars and other stuff together.

But there's too many good things with the note 3, and especially the Note 4 to give up. I can't wait to see the Note 4 in person. Will likely get that instead

Quite easy actually:

1. change to super amoled screen, QHD.
2. make battery replaceable.
3. Open OS so I can install and use 3rd part apps such as firefox.
4. Allow access to manage my files.
5. oh, trim the big bezel on top.

In other words you want Apple to make a Android phone?

mmm wut? I don't believe I mentioned anything that "has to be" android only.

All those features you mentioned are things you won't see on an iPhone.
