Take all this in to account;

With all the RS & BB pre-orders, the $100 instant rebate at both those stores, then all these online dealers selling the phone for $169-$199, and sprint.com selling the phone at midnight, would you be surprised if there were no line ups at Sprints stores?

I am hoping for just that, but I wouldn't count on it too much. Hope but doubt.

I don't think the lines are going to be massive. Some places I'm sure they will be, others probably not. A lot depends on the demographics.

I am really curious to how it will play out, is there really such a crazy demand for this phone, or are we just biased towards it?

I think the demand is there. People have been screaming for a true smart phone from Sprint for a long time. I don't mean to say Sprint hasn't had good smart phones, but this one will bring them to the sandbox that Verizon and AT&T have dominated for a long time

i was telling my cousin about it today and showed him a few videos and he had no idea it even existed, as well as a few other people i have told about it. they didnt do a whole lot of pre-marketing like what was done with some other phones

I don't think the lines will be that long because a lot of people pre-ordered including myself, didn't need to do a early morning photo op.

I don't think there would be long lines in my area due to there being 20+ Sprint stores in a 10 mile radius of my house... And I'm not joking there is literally 4 on the same street within 3 miles...
