Would you buy a Nokia Android phone?

N8 hardware, E7 form factor, with Android? Oh yes, i'd be there. (as long as Nokia becomes the first Android phone maker to finally figure out power consumption...)

+1 for this, sounds great, fully Android now, but longing for my old Nokia battery life...

I never had any problems with Nokia's hardware. Their problem is their bloody os(s). If the N8 runs android well and is slightly bigger (4.0 instead of 3.6) I will go for it.

I really hope this will come true tomorrow. I mean if they go with WP7, sure it MIGHT take off and put their foot in the US market BUT nowhere else in the world (except maybe Canada and UK) even care/know/want/able to use the full WP7 experience.

Whereas, Android is starting to gain traction outside the US and with its similarities to MeeGo, it would really be the best option.

Somehow, I think that Android either wanted more money or Nokia wanted more control and the talks failed? Hopefully I am proven wrong tomorrow.

Well, there goes the dream
