Would you buy an S8 if it had no microSD slot?

After the Note 5 I will never do a phone without a memory card slot. I just wish you could put anything and everything on the memory card.....

if there is no sd slot then no need of buying s8, google pixel is best option in my point of view

I am not a big fan of expandable memory with not many apps that can be moved to the sd cards. I would be happy to pay more for onboard memory with a min capacity of 128 GB.

I have a 128 gb Pixel xl which I can't wait to get rid of but that 128 gb is already down to 45. I have many many gbs of mp3 and flac files, ebooks and videos and I don't want them in the cloud. I want them on my phone. I have cloud accounts but I am not paying to store my own files and then have to use up data to access them, since generally I want them when I am out and not connected to wifi. I would never buy a phone without an sd slot again.

64GB is enough for me. Short of that, I'd need/want an SD card. The phone would, otherwise, have to be amazing for that not to be a deal-breaker.

64GB and no SD card won't cut it for me. I have over 70GB of stuff on my phone right now. Would prefer 128GB version but can l deal with 64GB plus SD card.

I would definitely not buy it if it didn't. I have tons of music on my SD card that would take up too much space on the phone. I ran into this problem with the Samsung Alpha I use to own.

They did it before with the S6, and also ditched the IR blaster. Samsung isn't afraid to try something "new". Now with 64GB as standard (and free Google Drive promo offers to lure people to abandon the SD card), will they drop the SD card altogether and go along the path of the Google Pixel and iPhone? People still bought the Pixel with no microSD slot, so I'm assuming people will be okay with no microSD slot on the S8? Official specs have not been confirmed but it's a possibility. I'll never get a phone without an SD card, owning the S6 I felt handicapped.

You changed your name

Nope. I've been on roads with poor service and watched my friend cursing his iPhone which had not asked, but just moved all his music to the Cloud.
Great for folks who never leave well-covered places, though.

I came from using iPhones so was used to being stuck with what capacity I chose.

I came to the Samsung s7 edge / android for many reasons Sd Card being one pretty high up in the list.

I wouldn't want to return back to a phone without one now.
