Would you buy an S8 if it had no microSD slot?

They did it before with the S6, and also ditched the IR blaster. Samsung isn't afraid to try something "new". Now with 64GB as standard (and free Google Drive promo offers to lure people to abandon the SD card), will they drop the SD card altogether and go along the path of the Google Pixel and iPhone? People still bought the Pixel with no microSD slot, so I'm assuming people will be okay with no microSD slot on the S8? Official specs have not been confirmed but it's a possibility. I'll never get a phone without an SD card, owning the S6 I felt handicapped.

SD card is a non factor for me as long as the phone has a minimum of 64gbs (50 ish usable) storage.

No. Reason i skipped the S6/Note5. Unless they offer a 128gb+ version.

I take a lot of videos when we compete so it takes up a good amount of space.

Also i keep a lot of music and vids on my sd, beats streaming most of the time.

Haaalll no. Gear VR and normal phone apps are tight enough for storage and adoptive storage is problematic at best. Gear VR media sucks up storage on the sd card. Even a 256GB model would have less total storage than my Note with the token 256gb card left from the Note 7 frucus.

Nice having everything with me when traveling and no depending on wifi or OTG, which has its own problems: Reliability, more to keep up with, and indexing issues with media apps.

Probably not. I just enjoy that flexibility too much having the slot and for what they charge for these things it needs to have dual SIMS AND the IR blaster too!
