Would you buy it for $449???

I more than likely would buy it. I mean its a little bit more than a carrier based phone but it comes mine with no crapware and I dont need to root it in most cases for my personal use. Not to mention updates direclt from Google. That along will more than likely sell me. Providing the specs are real if not better than we have here.

I would buy the Nexus 5 for $600 as long as it had 3000 mah battery.

I personally think that the Nexus Devices are simply the best.... but I have always purchased the Nexus devices with some extra "side money"
Its easy to put aside 300 in a month or so. But Now in the upwards of 500 with tax/shipping its starting to spread the gap towards buying a phone fully off contract (which many people dont do)

I want this phone more than anything.... I just feel its at the ceiling for price. If a nexus phone device ever hits $499 with no option for "payments" then I wont be buying it.

Looks like it's going to be starting at $350
I have an S4 but this seems like too good of a deal to pass up. Might need to buy it for myself as a Christmas gift :D

Yeah, I'm glad, I was wrong about the price. $350, for the 16GB version, is an absolute steal. I'm really hoping that either Best Buy carries it in store, or Google decides to use Amazon and Best Buy to set up a pre-order.

I might consider it if it had a great battery, by great battery I mean 3000 mha +. If not then I would not. I feel like phones these days are very expensive.

I think I will be buying one! Also hope Best Buy carries it. Would be nice if they had cases and screen protectors on release as well. Guess we will see!

Couldnt agree more. Id love to play with it before a purchase... just to make sure its "big" improvement over my S4 GPE

To the ones who said they would pay more than $350 for this phone - thank you. I'm right there with you - this will still be one of the best phones at a steal of a price (compared to off contract S4s and Xperias).

Honestly, it probably won't be. Biggest difference will be OIS and on screen buttons. Yes, it has a SnapDragon 800 instead of a 600, but I do not think that is a $350 upgrade.

Yup, Google play slip shows $350 for 16 GB, probably $380, $390 for 32GB, my N7fhd was only $40 more for the 32GB. N7fhd was delayed and is now 3 months old, prices for upgrades may have gone down further. My October N7 32GB was $50 more so by now it ought to be only $30 for an upgrade.

Short answer is I'd pay $600ish for it if that's what the price was. Many inferior devices are priced at 500-700 or more.

Yes, I will buy it though I suspect the 32gb will be $399.00....still a steal compared to a G2 at $550.00 - 600.00 USD.
