I'd say as long as you get it right this time.

You have to take libs, permissions, bin, and etc files.



Also, you can leave gapps. They say its illegal, but acceptable. Removing gapps and not all the files could cause issues. Look at Harmonia 2. It has Gapps and no one says anything

Tried porting the Optimus One version. Booted but the launcher/keyboard/settings dont work...

They say its illegal? No it is illegal and unacceptable. GApps is not to be included in ICS ROMs... Harmonia is a GB ROM.
