They say its illegal? No it is illegal and unacceptable. GApps is not to be included in ICS ROMs... Harmonia is a GB ROM.

I remember people saying any Custom Rom. Just look at the Start of Seller's post. AOSP only, or stock based.

Here is my view on the gapps issue.

Cyanogenmod got in pretty big trouble for including gapps early on, so they stopped. They came to an agreement with Google that basically said users can back up their gapps and use them with cm, but cm can't distribute them. This applies to pretty much any custom rom.

Roms based on a stock rom that includes gapps (all our froyo roms, those sense ports, etc) can include gapps because they came with them. I see absolutely no issue here, but the forum rules may disagree. Any custom rom not based on a stock rom shouldn't include gapps.

I have no idea how goo.im is allowed to distribute gapps, but I honestly don't care.

Mods, if my views conflict with the forum rules, say so. I never include gapps, but I rarely release ports I make.

not sure if you noticed lurkin, but he is a mod. he knows better than me . but yes, gapps are illegaly to include on ANY ICS based rom. including AOSP. On GB and below, AOSP roms can include gapps. CM cant, cyanmobile cant, OMFGB cant. that simple. (this is all from memory of what I read on gapps, I believe from the google licensing terms)
