Absolutely not. So far, the Charge seems like an overpriced, more cheapo plastic phone than the Bolt. I personally don't get picky over aesthetics since I always use a case anyways, but I don't want my phone to feel or look it's made out of the cheapest materials possible. I'm also more than well aware in my hardware experience that benchmarks are not the be-all end-all of whether a device a device will perform; HOWEVER, it has to jump out at you when something like the Charge performs this poorly in every benchmark (except gaming in Smartbench, which still isn't impressive). Something clearly has to be off for this device to perform worse than a stock Droid X and barely better than a Galaxy S. If I had to guess, I doubt Sammy properly optimized the kernel (or really any part of software).
Which leads to my second point, that many of the people on here wanting a Charge defend that developers will come up with custom software for them (since we know Samsung won't update the thing). It will undoubtedly happen, but considering how little hype the phone is getting I have to question if the dev community will be like the Fascinate (small and brief). The Bolt's community seems to be a continuation from the great DInc dev community, so I feel safe that there will be great software options for a long while on the Bolt.
