WOW! 2021 Samsung S21/Note 21 to get even more expensive with Snapdragon 875/X60 modem.

Yeah I don't mind paying these prices as long as we have trade ins , if u wait every other year it drop a little for the trade in but still instead of 650 maybe 450-550

I'll probably hold on to my Note 20 ultra little longer since its got what I wanted but we see next year with the new Note
If I had your money, I could burn mine and not feel a thing.

As the saying goes....no such thing as a free lunch.
Yeah we could still end up on top with trade ins, for example Amazon offering $600 for S10 trade in, could pick up S10 used for around $300 or something and then trade that in which reduces the total cost of the phone from $1300 to $1000. That's a discount since I paid $300 for S10 and trading in for $600, it's not a discount trading in our Note 10+ or S20 ultra we bought last/this year

Yeah.....that's one way to maximize saving on a purchase. Then throw in all the other discounts available and Samsung bonus credit and its a lot less painful. I'm getting tired of buying earbuds though....lol.

They just said on tv 2021 may be the last note phone.

Samsung has already done away with Samsung cloud.
Now they are saying the note phone..cause of the corona virus.
Samsung just needs to get out of the phone business.

They say they are getting rid of the Note so they can focus their efforts on The "Fold" line of phones and make that the Note replacement... not for me, thanks!!!

After the initial rumours that the the Note line is finished there are now reports of the final Note 21 being released next year but only one version, so no thinned down version of it.
Its all just rumours I think and nothing concrete, but still nice to hear positive rumours for a change.

I think there will be a Note 21. In 2022 Samsung will merge the Note with the S series. The Fold will not replace the Note.

Get ready for another big price increase in 2021. Hopefully the battery life goes up for the 5nm SOC chip. It should.
Snapdragon 875 Price for Qualcomm’s Partners Rumored to Be Around $100 More Expensive Than Snapdragon 865

It could be worse. Apple is going all out in cutting costs to offset the huge Qualcomm 5G price increase including not giving customers a charger to charge their phone and reducing the battery capacity.

Report: iPhone 12 to Use Smaller, Cheaper Battery

That's why they're pushing 5G..... not because it's going to be of any real benefit to us users, but because it's going to drive phone and plan prices up across the board. 4G will be around for a long time to come as a fall back to the spotty 5G (which some folks may never see), but good luck finding a high end 4G phone after next year. Everything will be 5G with the correspondingly astronomical price tags.

Pick up your reasonably priced 4G flagships now ;) Although it might already be too late :(
5G is the industries answer to the slowing sales in the overpriced smartphone market.

Theres alot of loyal note fans, pushing them to a £2k fold isn't the answer and some like me don't like the s range! I think if Samsung pushes ahead with it sales figures will show this.
