Same. I switched to T-Mobile from sprint and it's no comparison here in New Mexico. T-Mobile rocks!

Here at home my V10 has been getting around 25 to 30mbps. With my S8 im getting around 30 to 35. I won't complain but I was hoping for more. My area has 4x4 MIMO etc. What kinda irks me is when I first got service, I was regularly seeing close to 100mbps (with my V10). I havn't seen those speeds in a long time... They most have signed up a lot of Tmo customers in my area without adding network capacity.

Yeah, the S8 is the first phone to have Gigabit LTE and T-mobile is one of the few networks, if not the only, that currently has Gigabit LTE. It is really nice that you are one of the first to be able to make use of those speedsツ

On Verizon... anywhere... I've never seen those speeds, even by the house, close to the cell tower.

I get those speeds on my Wi-Fi. But LTE on VZ... forget-about-it.

Yes the hardware is capable but the network hasn't been made available for public use.

Maybe I did not formulate my words correctly. T-mobile and the S8 with it's chipset is the only combination that will offer the speeds the OP is getting and I think it is really nice the OP is getting those speeds.

That is definitely not correct. Many have gotten 100 + Mbps speeds on previous phones. This isn't a S8 thing.

Yeah it more so depends on the tower, how many people, load balancing, etc. etc.

Not saying the speeds aren't blistering fast for the OP .. They definitely are .. But this isn't due to an S8 just somehow pulling more LTE than other phones. That is all I am saying .

I got 100 Mbps + when I had T-Mobile in certain areas with lots of different phones (I swap often) so .. Yeah .. It isn't an S8 thing .

Absolutely not. Verizon can hit this even without carrier aggregation and has been able to for several years... Dependent on location , load, deployment, etc.

For reference this is the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

You only need a cat 4 device to hit 132mbps . Cat 4 is theoretically rated up to 150mbps.

The S8 in theory should be able to get MUCH higher, and in some areas you might. I think having the 4x4 MIMO etc will help you out in congested areas. you should get better speed than others
