Now the Canadian s3 has the 4.1.2 update before at&t as of today. What is really going on with at&t and this update. I guess they still are trying to sell more s4's. Oh well, maybe in Sept or Oct.

Unfortunately carriers do not care about their customers as far as software updates are concerned. I gave up on them a long time ago and went to rooting and installing custom roms. It's very much worth it. Now I use the carrier to get a subsidy on the phone and from there it's all in my control. In fact the first thing I do is remove all of the carrier bloatware.
