That is as much a statement as it is a question. I was hoping to find some some help but from the looks of it. I mite be one of the starters and end up helping others if I figure it out. That is scary! Anyway, does anyone know, now that I have my new myTouch phone and I have downloaded all of my apps, will they ever go into the applications area or always stay in the Downloads section? Thanks in advance for your help.

in the applications draw, when you are in it, hit settings-layout, and you can change it to category, page, or list.

Figured out how to change the tray apps. I hate the built in default browser, I d/l dolphin HD instead. However, even when dolphin is default, hitting the globe still brings up the default app. No use for "genius" either, so it's a waste of a button.

If you try to slide an icon into the space from the homescreen, all it will let you do is drop it in the trash. However, if you bring up the app drawer then select an icon and slide/drop, it will replace. You can only use the stock icons though.

I went with golauncher ex, seems snappier and more customizeable. Rooted too, bye bye tmobile bloatware.

Agreed, goLauncher EX is nice and runs snappy on this phone.

I'm finding the Genius button to be pretty useful, personally. Being able to hit it and compose a text to a contact or dial a number or find a location on Google Maps rarely without having to type anything is fast becoming a valuable time saver for me. At first I was pretty ambivalent but it has a solid engine behind it and I'm using it more and more as it continues to do what it's suppose to do, quickly and simply.

I'd still rather have a 4g toggle in the notifications bar though.
