Background: I have a Droid Turbo 2 recently updated with MM. I listen to podcasts using Player FM, and music using Rocket Player. I listen to these sources in my car, by connecting an audio cable to my car stereo using the headphone jack (mini plug).
Here's the problem:
When I arrive at my destination, I stop whatever is playing (Player FM or Rocket Player) by disconnecting the audio cable. Then later when I get back in the car, I want to resume whatever was previous playing by reinserting the audio cable. The problem is that in cases where I was previously listening to Player FM, when I reinsert the cable the phone will resume Player FM for a couple seconds, then it will automatically pause Player Fm and then instead resume Rocket Player. In other words, Rocket Player always seems to be given priority over Player FM.
Is there a way to configure Android to resume the app that was previously active?
