Wrong navigation voice

[AC Question]

Using Kit kat on S3
Received notice to upgrade to high quality voice. Downloaded the UK female English and later US female English. The test sample works but all I get is a southern hick English voice in navigation that will not change other than speed. Rebooted after each attempt. (I never downloaded a southern voice)

I would guess an error in the app. Have you contacted the developer and explained the issue?

After going up the escalation process at Verizon, it turns out it was a known bug that Samsung was working on. Couple weeks later works fine. Thanks for commenting
