Wtf is up with downloading games?

I had a Palm Pre...and it would dwld games or appa within 15 min...and that was ota. Now, my phone gwta stolen...and Sprint says no more Pres..would I like a Palm Pixie? I'm a grown man...no way i'm gettin Pixie!

And now, this crap HTC EVO 4g will not dwld excepr thru wifi!!! WTF???? The Palm Pre was fhe greatesr phone ever made'...and Sprint ****ex it by not adveetising enough!

Not to mention I've paid insurance for 10 years'...and I'm stuck with a phone I did not want...no physical keyboard...AND they're charging vb me $189!!

Anyway....is there a faster way to dwld games? Takes 2 hours for cryin' out loud! Please help!

I've been able to download games/apps through 3G/4G without problems. What game(s) were you trying to download?

Strange. I also came from a Pre but downloading apps/games has been no issue so far for me and I do not use wifi. Assuming Data is enabled, are you roaming and perhaps Data roaming is off? Do other services work fine over 3g/4g?

I also came from the Pre. Also loved it til the hardware gave out and also had the same issue trying to download a few games. Some dictated that I had to use wifi to download it, and others tried to do it over 3g/4g, but the connection was spotty and it kept rebooting.

Only thing I can think of to try is update your Phone profile and PRL settings. If it's out of date, you may not be able to download as quickly or reliably.

go to Home/menu/aboutphone/updates and update both the profile and PRL.
