wtf?

None of the devs support ROM manager, if you find their ROMs on ROM manager, they are not their uploads, but instead 3rd party uploads, that aren't supported by the devs. There's been a few incidents where a ROM that was uploaded by a 3rd party(not the dev) and that ROM would instantly brick the phone. People held the dev accountable, when they weren't the one who placed it on ROM manager.
Anyone could upload a ROM saying its something that its not, on ROM manager. More recently, someone that wasn't Jerry, uploaded his rom, BACKside, onto ROM manager, I pointed it out to him, and he was confused due to him not supporting ROM manager, nor did he himself put it there. Luckily, it was not a fake ROM, and the person who uploaded it, came forth and apologized, and took it down.

Point is, the devs do NOT support the use of ROM manager, due to several mishaps with the optimus one line (including the optimus S, U, V, T, etc.). Its just recommended that you do not use ROM manager with this phone, and if you have any troubles with ROM manager, you will most likely not get any help at all on these forums.

Rom manager is an awesome app. Don't be confused. I've used it for almost 2 years. Many people with other phones swear by it. Here is the problem with rom manager:
Certain optimus phones use a different screen than the one you and I have. It would essentially" brick" (render useless) your phone if it had the other screen type.

My wife has an optimus we bought recently... it would be a brick if I ran rom manager on it. So that is why everyone freaks about rom manager on these forums.

I used it with my OV for a while and I kept getting bootloops. uninstalled it, and I'm much better off.
