I am using a generic X96 Mini Smart TV box running Android 7.1.2. The specs are Amlogic Quad Core ARM Cortex A53@2GHz, Mali-450MP GPU @750MHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB Flash. On Amazon it goes by the name "Tracfy Android 7.1.2 X96 Mini TV Box"
I've got it working fine to fit my purposes except for one thing: When I plug in my Samson Meteor USB microphone, all audio output for media stops. It seems like the microphone (which does have a headphone jack for monitoring) that it assumes both audio input and output. I expect the audio from my TV, connected via HDMI.
This is the same mic I had plugged into a previous Minix box which worked without problem as my Google voice interface.
I've tried the Sounds settings where you can select output such as PCM vs HDMI raw, and with the Samson mic plugged in, I can't get any audio for media.
In summary: Any idea how I can configure this X96 Mini TV box to NOT use the Samson for audio output and only microphone input.
