xbox 360 wireless controller with USB to go

I got the adapter and while it works with the wireless 360 controller, it only works on certain games. Games like shadowgun and Dead Trigger have this odd thing where the camera just spins even when your not touching the controller! You also can't map the keys like the wired controllers. There is a work around but it's not what I would call easy and requires root access. I think I'm going to break down and buy a wired controller. Seems much easier.

It's mapping the camera to the triggers instead of the second analog stick. I emailed the developer for Demolition, Inc. They said they hadn't tested it with 360 controller but they would look into it. I would recommend you also email the developers of the apps you're having issues with so they know it's not working and will hopefully fix it.

If you want to attempt playing with the controller until then hold the triggers in half way to stop the rotating. Squeeze and release tension to adjust camera.

I have an Xbox 1 controller which I modded with a USB connector, and that has the same issue, seems a little odd that a wired Xbox 360 controller is mapped differently to a wireless one using a USB adapter. I opted for this third-party bluetooth PS3 controller* instead which works nicely in Dead Trigger and GTA3 both wired and wirelessly using the sixaxis controller app.

*It doesn't actually look like the pictures given, but there are a couple of customer pictures that show the actual controller I got.

How did you map the controller for dead trigger? I a, having Trouble getting the aim to work what axis did you choose? Can you post a screenshot of the mapping? Thanks

Androidsim has a pretty easy guide to setup 360 controller. Note that 360 has some problems with some emulators. My best solution is using bluetooth controller like the WII.

I have been looking for an adapter to use a xbox controller to play gamess on my gs3 but im very confused on how it all works. I know that you need to have an OTG cord but dont know what it is that you need to connect the otg cord and the wireless controller. Ive looked at a lot of stuff and I want to make sure tht im not buying something that wont work. Can you tell me the cord that you purchased and if they worked?

I have a xbox360 wireless controller with the USB charging kit. I tried connecting it to both my PC and to my Nexus 10 via OTG cable. In both cases the controller ONLY charges. It will not allow it to function as a normal controller in wired mode. After doing research they suggest I get a wireless receiver so it can be used as a wireless controller still.

On a side note I plugged my PS3 DualShock3 controller in and it worked perfectly. I didn't have to do anything. I'm not rooted and it still works. I was able to test the PS3 controller with SNES and NES emulators.
