I wouldn't because of price and size. If Mot made a 7" and it was 600 I might.

Im not gonna switch, i'm gonna keep my tab and get the Xoom. Tab for on the go busy days, Xoom for playing with at home and long flights when I travel for my vacations.

No way could I justify both. I have been Xoom all the way, but if the price is $799 I will be sticking with the SGT and I wont feel like I've sacrificed a thing. Lack of updates will be the only problem I see.

Played with the Xoom over the weekend at an event in Dallas, it's a pretty cool device but while it is new tech, I think the Tab has an upperhand in price, portability and flexibility. I love my Tab, it fits in my pocket and I can take it anywhere. You can buy one on any carrier you desire. And I purchased it new on Craigslist for $400, half the price of the Mot Xoom. Really I had it in my pocket with me during the Superbowl, you can't do that with a 10in screen. Made it a perfect travel mate to watch movies on the flight home without requiring space in my bag for travel.

I won't give this sucker up, it may not be the most current tech but come on, it was released 4 months ago...and does everything it should and better than most devices on the market. Plus all the tablet apps will work with the Tab, who needs to upgrade?!

Yeah, I'd decided with the ipad that 10 inches was too big to carry around. I'll be keeping my Galaxy Tab.

I agree. The biggest selling point for me was the size, being able to put it in a coat pocket, or in my pants pocket. Very portable. I understand the desire to have the newest and greatest thing out there, but I am very satisfied with my Tab, and honestly don't envision myself switching to anything else in the near future.

With all the new tablets out there (BB, Apple, HP, etc.) there is always going to be someone coming out with something new for a while, especially in a competitive market like the wireless business. Jumping at the newest device would probably break my pocket book (even though it would be fun).
