Xoom gmail widget issues

I'm having an issue with he gmail widget. It constantly stops showing my email messages. I can hear the emal notification for new email but the box shows no email. When I open the client by clickig the widget it shows in the inbox. When I close the client the message still doesn't show. If I remove the widget and read it the email widget works for a little bit until it repeats. Any ideas or workarounds? Its the 3G Xoom also.

Same for me, pretty much since day one. I expect a future update to address this, hopefully...

Did you ever notice that sometimes you have to scroll the widget to get it to refresh?

Widgets on Honeycomb are pretty borked.

If I turn on my wifi Xoom without an internet connection, the market widget will just load up with empty panels and it will not refresh when there's an internet connection. I have to remove and re-add the widget before it loads properly.

Many other third party apps that use the honeycomb scrolling widget format have difficulty refreshing, like the CNN app and Accuweather. Google has got to do something about the API for widgets, since no one seems to have it gotten right, even themselves.

I view my gmail in Dolphin Hd...i'd rather view it there

My Gmail app has been working A-OK. I did have a prob with the calendar app. Another member suggested clearing the app cache and that worked perfectly. Perhaps clearing the Gmail app cache will help... Good luck.

The app is working correctly, its the widget that is faulting. It wont update with new email. My exchange widget works just fine, its just the gmail one.
