Xoom speaker issues

I just picked up a Xoom yesterday and it seems my volume control doesn't adjust the speakers. It will however turn them off if the volume is all the way down. They seem to be on a loud setting and don't change at all as I move my volume bar. Help please!

Try a restart, I haven't had this issue myself but I have seen this reso.tion on other sites.

If restart doesn't work you could try a system reset, like manufacturer settings. Otherwise exchange it ^^

A restart will work. I ran into this problem a few days ago and once I restarted it worked fine and the problem has not come back.
