got that, but looking for the patch to see if we can figure a manual patching solution that might be clockwork flashable after a lil work

I checked Settings, About Tablet, System Updates before midnight and it reported I was up to date, with last check at 1:15 pm. Now that it's after midnight it says it last checked March 10. Anyone know how frequently it checks for updates?

I don't see a way to manually check from Settings, but I did try rebooting to see if that would force a check... it didn't. Oh well, sleep is taking over so maybe I'll wake to find the Xoom Fairy visited overnight!

So apparently the Xoom checks every 12 hours or so... yesterday's check was 1:15 pm, and then it checked this morning at 1:06 am. No update yet and based on twice-daily checks, I know to just sit back and be patient ...

you can force it to check for update by changing the date

Mine show no update available. It's 6:14 and it says it checked at 5:58.

It doesn't sound like anything to get too excited for anyhow...but as already mentioned, progress is progress.

Any idea if it will update when connected to wifi only? I never did activate the 3g data on mine.

Verizon reps Moto reps all say yes they promise it will auto update. That does raise an interesting question of what all and who all are collecting data off our tablets.

I just checked for an update and it says i was up to date... still showing version 3.0

Why are they rolling this update out so slowly anyway?

If you believe media reports, they've only sold a total of like 26 Xoom's so far...shouldn't take that long to roll out.

Seriously though...is there some "secret" way to get the update to hit sooner? I tried setting my date forward a day and it says my system is up to date and the last check was 9:28am today (4 minutes ago - so it did immediately check as soon as I changed the date)

If your didn't get it yet, chill. We aren't missing anything by not having this update. We will all get it. No Flash until the 18th anyways.

Every time you power on the Xoom, it checks for updates.
