Xperia Z1: Sim card cover feels uneven

Just got my new z1 in house and its a beautiful phone. Have a question though. The cover which covers the sim card tray is more harder to close on one side than the other. It closes fully but feels a little uneven. Is this something to be worried about? That it might compromise the water proofing?
I would rather not have to go back to the store and have to prove this minor uneevenes.

No that shouldn't be a any problem at all. I will not compromise the waterproofing and i guess you haven't buy this phone to dip it inside the water don't you ???
